About Dab Wheel

Dab Wheel LLC was founded in 2025 in Scottsdale, Arizona by Joe Kookoothe, a cannabis extraction specialist with over 11 years of hands-on experience working with concentrates of all varieties.

Over the years, Joe grew increasingly frustrated with one unavoidable compromise in the cannabis industry: cartridges sacrifice quality for convenience.

To make extracts work in cartridges, they must be decarboxylated and melted into a liquid state. In that process, some of the most valuable and flavorful compounds—especially terpenes—are literally boiled off. What starts as a top-quality concentrate often ends up muted, flattened, and far removed from how it was meant to taste.

And the problems don’t stop there.

Traditional cartridges repeatedly reheat the same oil over the same heating element. With most strains, this leads to a burned, bitter flavor that gets worse with every hit—nothing like the clean, fresh experience of a true dab.

Dab rigs, on the other hand, preserve flavor beautifully—but they’re bulky, impractical, and far from portable. Even electronic rigs require extra tools, accessories, and separate containers just to enjoy a few dabs on the go.

Joe believed there had to be a better way.

A way to combine the convenience of a cartridge with the fresh, raw flavor of a dab rig.
